A flip a day keeps the doctor away for this world-record breaking trickster and he urges other people to do the one thing that makes them happy everyday too – promoting happier, healthy lives.

Trick-shot virtuoso and flip a day creator, Pat Graves, 30, is at his happiest when he’s rotating through the air, so in a pledge to himself to lead the best life possible, he filmed himself backflipping for 1115 days straight.

Giving birth to his brand ‘Flip a day’, the musician and gymnastics teacher from Nashville, Tennessee, makes time every day to literally bounce off of the walls and practice some truly incomprehensible trick-shots.

Currently the world-record holder for the world’s longest ever front-flip basketball shot with a stunning effort of 75 ft – beating the previous record by three foot – Pat is hoping to use his positive outlook on life to inspire others to seek self-enlightenment.

iwonder TV went down to Nashville to speak with the flip a day master and speaking to iwonder TV, Pat said: “I did a flip every day for 1115 days in a row, posting every single one on social media.

“The main reason for that was to try to be a leader and inspire a happiness movement.

“It’s basically my belief that if you do something you love at least once a day – even if it’s just for five minutes – you’re going to create a happier lifestyle for yourself.

“My goal through @FlipaDay is to inspire you to find your happiness and live it.

“It can be riding a bike; fishing; it can be anything as long as it’s genuinely making you happy.

“You owe it to yourself and you deserve to be happy.

“When I’m in the grind, you’ll hear me muttering ‘patience, positivity and perseverance’ – those are my three P’s that help me get through any challenge.

“The reaction I’ve been getting has been great.

“One guy that I met when he was 16 told me that following me helped him to quit drugs so he could learn to flip instead.

“That right there is one of the most heart-warming things I’ve experienced.”
