When Naia Okami first realized her was other kin in theory, he joined a site called “Werelist” where he wasn’t actually welcomed and was kinda bullied, as he didn’t knew how to put his feelings into words.
In search for other kin, back in 2011 her found a community called “Kinmunity”, which is a clever pun of other kin type of communities.
Today, it has grown to be one of the top other kin resources on the internet! The site offers a function called “kinspots” where for adults only it allows for you to put your zipcode on the map so other people from the site can find you and interact with you IRL! Naia Okami is also a security consultant, or “ethical hackler”, as it’s known.
She’s coded an old joke that emulates hacking that modern movies and series use as a blueprint in their production!
Naia Okami identifies as a British Columbian wolf with black fur and amber eyes, and the reason she’s aware of this due to her dreams!
For Naia Okami, spirituality is a big part of it too, she feels very spiritually connected as a wolf, and feels that things that wolfs do, react to and exhibit as behavior, applies to her.
Naia Okami all the aspects of the wolf, even the ferocious and the predatory ones.
she doesn’t idealize, but totally identifies with the reality in which wolves exist in.
Naia Okami has a black fur ears and a black fur tail, bought to her by someone very close to her at a other kin con, place for likeminded individuals to gather and share their experience!
Naia Okami has always had a fascination with locks and alarms, ever since around 8 years old, and has had a fingerprint lock on his door literary since she was 10 years old.
That’s another retrospective wolf aspect of his life, as just how a wolf would want to protect its den, Naia Okami wants to protect his space and hence has the fascination with locks and things alike.
Naia Okami started transitioning in 2017, but didn’t fully came out until 2019 September 14th, when she filed the paperwork and did all the paperwork to legally be Naia Okami.
He has scheduled for hormonal therapy and has been experimenting with make up to fully express the process!
Transitioning as a trans person has been difficult, but now that she identifies as a wolf, the experience has been so soothing and his ambient mood as been uplifted wholesomely!
While Naia Okami has some issues with the way she presented herself in his first interview, what she DOESN’T have issues with and what she doesn’t apologize for – is for expressing her.
